INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS will include:
Prof Sears Eldredge – author of e-book Captive Audiences/Captive Performances making a return visit and speaking about his research into POW camp entertainments across Far East captivity, and specifically about the camps along the Thailand Burma railway, highlighted in his new book
Dr Rosalind Hearder – Australian military historian and author of Keep the Men Alive about the work of Australian medics throughout Far East captivity.
Mr Jon Cooper, from Singapore – The Adam Park Project (TAPP) Digging up Singapore's wartime history.
SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS include:
Dr Bernice Archer – Historian, talking about civilian internees
Rod Beattie – Director, Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, Kanchanaburi
Dr Geoff Gill – Professor of International Medicine, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine
Mr Jeya Ayadurai – Director of the Changi Museum, Singapore.
